The three BC chapters of CPRS have partnered together to bring this annual provincial award in BC recognizing excellence in the public relations profession.

The 2008 PR Communications Leadership Awards – jointly sponsored by CPRS Vancouver, CPRS-VI (head office in Victoria) and CPRS Northern Lights (head office in Prince George) -- are open to any public relations practitioner in British Columbia, the Yukon and the Northwest Territories.

They will recognize three public relations professionals who demonstrate excellence in a public relations program. Entries should highlight strategies and tactics common to the public relations profession. Submissions will reflect the RACE model of research, analysis, communications and evaluation. They may include:

• Media relations campaigns
• Community engagement
• Crisis communications
• Issues management
• Product launches
• Public service campaigns
• New business start-up
• Social marketing initiatives

Deadline for submissions is November 7.
