Carrie Stefanson 1At CPRS, we're turning the tables - and putting journalists in the spotlight.

The first to be interviewed is Carrie Stefanson, Senior Researcher for CTV. Read below for everything you need to know before pitching to Carrie...

What do you love most about your job?

I love learning something new every day.

When is the best time to pitch to you?

Best time to pitch is after noon, and often again on the morning of the event. No 4pm pitches please unless it's a heads up for a major event the following day.

What do you look for in a story?

Emotion and good pictures.

What's your biggest bug bare when working with PRs?

They say a CEO is in town and would we like to talk to him, with no concept of what the story might be. And they pitch stories with no visuals for TV.

What's your average day like?

Nine hours long with no lunch breaks.

What's your favourite social network and why?

Twitter because it jogs my memory.

What coffee shop are you most likely to be found in?

I don't have time to go for coffee except on the weekend when I'm seen in Divano in Port Moody.

What's your personal career ambition?

Continuing to meet incredible people and develop fabulous stories.
