What’s your average day like?

What is nice about my program is that there isn’t really an average day. Each day we learn a different topic and gain experience in a different segment of PR, it’s very refreshing.

Are you an ‘early bird’ or ‘night owl’?
Definitely a night owl.

What appeals to you most about working in PR?

What appeals to me most about working in PR is the opportunity to work with clients to develop their public image. I like the idea of acting as the communicator between the client and the public.

What’s your dream job?

Currently my dream job is a position in an international agency working with a variety of clients. I would also love the opportunity to represent a luxury hotel line.

What’s your favourite PR campaign?

The Movember campaign, I think it is a great cause and fun. Movember raises funds and awareness for prostate cancer while getting everyone excited about a month full of moustaches.

Who is your PR idol?

My PR Idol is Kylie McMullan an instructor of mine. She has accomplished so much in her career, she is well travelled, has her MBA and is in the process of having a PR textbook published.

What’s your favourite social network?

Pinterest! I love scrolling through and finding great health and beauty tips. I have also pinned a plethora of recipes I will never make.

Which coffee shop are you most likely to frequent?

Currently Blenz, they’re double cappuccino’s are a morning must!

A fun fact about you:

I have been white water rafting down the kicking horse river twice.
