ABOUT THE COMPANIES INVOLVED
Media relations is one of the most important tools in a PR practitioners’ tool box. Here’s your chance to learn what media are looking for – directly from the source!
Metro launched in Vancouver in March 2005 and today it has a daily weekday print readership of 294,000. It is a free daily and is distributed through hawkers at SkyTrain stations, on racks in cafes and through hundreds of green (somewhat battered) newspaper boxes on street corners across the Lower Mainland. Metro’s small, but lively, newsroom focuses on telling interesting local stories for busy commuters and people on the go.
