Land Acknowledgement
As Public Relation Professionals in British Columbia, we respectfully acknowledge that we live, work, and carry out our professional responsibilities on the lands of the traditional and unceded territories of the Indigenous Peoples across the province, which includes the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
We also recognize that our professional work often intersects with Indigenous communities. We pledge to consult, empower, and amplify the voices of Indigenous Peoples, ensuring that their perspectives are accurately represented in the public sphere and our work as PR professionals.
