About

Serving public relations and communications professionals since 1959

Founded in 1959, CPRS Vancouver is a networking and professional development organization serving public relations and communications practitioners in British Columbia, with a specific focus on Metro Vancouver. Our membership is diverse and ranges from senior practitioners and public relations executives to students and newcomers to the profession.

CPRS Vancouver offers professional development opportunities and social events for our members to network and discuss issues surrounding public relations, media relations, social media, event management, marketing, public engagement and public affairs.

We promote high professional standards and encourage our members to earn APR accreditation. We support student professional development and work closely with local PR programs at colleges and universities throughout Greater Vancouver to support entry into the profession. CPRS Vancouver also runs a robust job board through which our membership is able to learn about new career opportunities and access a variety of job postings.

Our chapter society is a member of the national Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).
