Rhonda Morris, Manager of Employee Communication, BC Housing

Rhonda Morris is Manager of Employee Communication with BC Housing. She was the force behind BC Housing’s media and events for well over a decade. In March 2020 at the start of the pandemic, she shifted to internal communication and launch BC Housing’s dedicated employee communications function. Rhonda is passionate in building ways to support employees through access to information and alignment with strategy and corporate goals.

 

Prior to joining BC Housing, Rhonda led fundraisers and sponsorships for the non-profit Children’s Wish Foundation of BC and Yukon.


Alison Schatz, Senior Communications Specialist, Metro Vancouver Regional District

Alison Schatz is an award-winning communications and behavior change expert. As Senior Communications Specialist at Metro Vancouver, she drives progress on regional waste prevention goals by leading campaigns including "Food Scraps Aren't Garbage" (using the green bin) and "What's Your Superhabit?" (reducing single-use items). With a background in biology and business, Alison loves creating evidence-based communications strategies to improve sustainability.
