In 1959, the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS) officially launched a society chapter in Vancouver. In 2019, we celebrate the 60th anniversary of our local society. What a legacy!
This year’s Report to Members is a celebration of this legacy, featuring updates from all of our Directors on their various portfolios, as well as a special writeup from Emma Shea on our 60th Anniversary celebrations #CPRSVan60.
When we met last September, the board agreed to focus on expanding our offerings to members: more types of events, more targeted at different audiences. The result? Two new event series, cPRsips and Leaders’ Network, to complement our already stellar Speaker Series and Professional Development.
Read all about these new offerings, review our financial statements for the year (we’re in good shape!), as well as tributes to our amazing volunteers, award recipients, and membership anniversaries.
Beautifully designed by Cary Debenham, this year’s report is packed with all CPRS Vancouver stats and info you need! I encourage you to take a few minutes to read through it. Stay tuned for write-ups on our amazing AGM and 60th anniversary gala and the tribute video, coming soon!
