We’re glad you’re here!
As the leading professional association for PR and communications practitioners, we wanted a site that reflected the high calibre of our membership. We’ve given the site a sleek, clean look, optimized it for mobile, and featured photos of our members across the site.
Partnerships and collaboration
This new site was built in partnership with CPRS National, and leverages the national site’s architecture and general structure. We’ve also harmonized our back-end processes and functionality, including our job board and events management.
This alignment of our services has multiple benefits: it saves money; it streamlines our operations; and centralizes member activities in one place. When you log into myCPRS, you’ll be able to access the full range of your CPRS membership activities via a single portal—simple, straightforward and easy.
CPRS Vancouver has recently hired Sea to Sky Meeting and Association Management, who will be supporting our members and the society to reach our goals. Their work to learn our business and get up and running has been phenomenal—they’ve listened carefully to our needs and found innovative solutions to long-standing challenges. If you call our office, you’ll speak to one of their amazing staff who will be happy to assist you with any questions you have. We’re excited for the future of our partnership.
Special thanks go to Sea to Sky Association Management’s amazing senior project manager, Sherri Corrie, whose comprehensive project management skills and careful attention to detail are reflected in the high quality of the finished website.
I’d also like to thank our design firm Inorbital for working on a compressed timeline, being flexible, and delivering a sleek, modern site.
And finally, immense thanks goes out to the CPRS Board, who provided input and direction as we created our new site. I’d particularly like to thank Amanda Munro for sharing her extensive knowledge and expertise as we navigated RFPs, contracts and security best practices. She’s a star!
CPRS Membership
I can’t say enough good things about CPRS Vancouver and my member experience. As one of four CPRS Vancouver members who received their APR this year, I’ve found the professional development and leadership opportunities to be invaluable. The network of connections, access to member benefits, events and professional development opportunities are unparalleled. I’m so proud of what we achieve every year, and it’s only getting better.
March is Membership Month, so don’t forget—you get a $100 credit for every new member you refer. If you’re not a member, what are you waiting for?
We hope you like our new site! Hope to see many of you out at an event soon.
