PR and Professionalism Study Promotion

The Canadian Public Relations Society is a proud partner in a new national study to explore the extent to which public relations functions as a profession in Canada. This chapter is helping to promote the study to public relations students and practitioners in our region. The study is being led by Bernard Gauthier, PhD who is serving as President of the Ottawa – Gatineau chapter this year and by David Harmes, PhD, a professor in the Bachelor of Public Relations program at Conestoga College. The survey questionnaire should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and by participating, you will be helping the CPRS enhance the status of PR practitioners in Canada and shaping the way public relations is taught in this country. Please take a few moments to share your perspective on public relations and professionalism.
